Anyways, I checked out mine today (not something I usually do but it was in the paper and I thought, what the hell, it’s only 30 seconds of my life, why not?) and compared it to my day to see how correct the thing would be. Gemini:
Recent frustrations regarding your love life will vanish if you take the time to examine attitudes that are holding you back -- and implement some ways to get rid of them. Move!
WTF? I was expecting my horoscope to be so general that even I could relate to it. But in this case, it's completely wrong! My love life is great! I’m in a stable relationship with the man who I’m most likely going to marry someday, we’ve been together for over 5 years what’s this crap about love life frustrations? I can’t believe theirs actually people out their who buy into these things! And literately too, some folks will spend anywhere from $5 - hundreds of dollars on a personal reading! And unlike most other entertainment services these Astrologists don’t have to carry disclaimers that say
"The information provided by this horoscope is a personal opinion of the astrologer. You should follow the suggestions at your own risk only after careful consideration. Horoscopes are not admissible as legal evidence." They don’t have disclaimers at all!
*Sigh* I don’t know why people get into astrology, maybe it’s because as humans we are scared of the unpredictable and always want to be inform on how our future is going to be, and for some reading a horoscope (whether believable or not) is comforting.
Do you belive in them and how closely do you follow them?
Actually dear sister, this horoscope:
No Wendy I don't read them.. mostly because God has forbid such.. I do believe yes some of these fortune tellers do have a way to tell you your future and can be spot on or close to knowing certain things.. but there sources are what troubles me..
I read mine everday, mainly for something to do, and I never take it seriously.
Yes I read them
